Det-Tronics EQ3760 Addressable Smoke Module
The EQP Addressable Smoke Module (Spec Sheet: 90-1226) is designed to expand the input and output capability of the Det-Tronics EQP system. The ASM is an interface device designed to provide continuous and automated fire protection. It ensures system operation through continuous supervision of system inputs/outputs and Local Operating Network/Signaling Line Circuit (LON/SLC) monitoring in the controller. The ASM is located directly on the LON of the EQP system, with a loop of up to 100 addressable devices tied into the ASM. This allows the EQP controller to annunciate a fire alarm from either its own LON based I/O or from the ASM connected addressable smoke and heat detection loops. System status can be determined using the troubleshooting procedures, Eagle Quantum Safety System Software (S3), and the status indicators on the module. Det-Tronics X3302 Multispectrum Infrared Flame Detector
X3302 Multispectrum Infrared Flame Detector (Spec Sheet: 90-1232) provides a large field of view for hydrogen fire detection coupled with superior false alarm rejection. The detector utilizes advanced signal processing algorithms supported by an embedded 32-bit microprocessor to provide continuous protection in the presence of false alarm sources and environments with infrared radiation present. When configured for Very High Sensitivity, the X3302 has a detection range of 125 feet on axis and 100 feet off axis to a hydrogen fire and is recommended for any indoor/outdoor application. Det-Tronics X5200 UVIR Flame Detector
X5200 UVIR Flame Detector (Spec Sheet: 90-1156) meets the most stringent requirements worldwide with advanced ultra high speed detection capabilities and immunity to extraneous sources, combined with a superior mechanical design. The combination of Arc Rejection on the UV sensor and TDSA/Quick Fire on the IR sensor make this detector the highest false alarm immune UVIR available. The mounting arrangement allows the UV and IR sensors to monitor the same hazardous location with a 90-degree field of view. When both sensors simultaneously detect the presence of a flame, an alarm signal is generated. The standard output configuration includes fire, fault, and auxiliary relays with RS-485 Modbus. Optional 0-20 mA, Eagle Quantum Premier, or HART outputs are also available. Auxiliary relay offers the flexibility to customize detection, using UV, IR, or both. EQ2400NE Network Extender (Spec Sheet: 90-1132) expands the capabilities of the Eagle Quantum Premier system by allowing additional nodes as well as additional wiring to be added to the LON communication loop. Without a network extender, the communication network is limited to 60 nodes on a 2,000 meter loop. Each network extender increases the capacity of the loop by 40 nodes and an additional 2,000 meters of wiring. The maximum system size is 246 field nodes and 10,000 meters of wiring. To ensure optimum performance, it is important to distribute the network extenders along the loop so that no more than 40 nodes or 2,000 meters of wiring are on either side of a network extender. EQ3730 EDIO Enhanced Discrete Input/Output Module (Spec Sheet: 90-1189) The 8 Channel EDIO Module is specially designed to expand the input and output (I/O) capability of the Det-Tronics Eagle Quantum Premier System. The unit is designed to provide continuous and automated fire/gas protection while ensuring system operation through continuous supervision of system I/O and signaling line circuit (SLC). The EDIO module provides eight channels of configurable input or output points that can be configured as input/output, two-wire smoke/heat detector, Class A input, Class A output. Each input point can accept fire detection devices such as heat, smoke, or unitized flame detectors. Each output point can be configured for signaling or releasing output operation. EQ3780HSDM High Speed Deluge Module (HSDM) (Spec Sheet: 90-1233) is specifically designed to expand the capability of the Det-Tronics Eagle Quantum Premier® (EQP) System by providing the capability to activate ultra-high speed suppression systems for hazardous applications such as munitions manufacturing. The HSDM provides up to six (6) configurable input channels and up to six (6) configurable output channels that can be programmed for supervised or unsupervised operation. Typical initiating devices include optical flame detectors, heat detectors, and manual pull stations. Output channels are designed to activate Factory Mutual (FM) approved solenoids. Det-Tronics Risk Area Heat Detector Model HD
The Risk Area Heat Detector (Spec Sheet: 90-1211) accurately senses the surrounding air temperature and actuates an electrical contact output at a pre-determined temperature. The SIL 2 certified heat detector can be used as an alarm device to sense excessive heat or fire and warn personnel, or it can be used as a signaling device to sense fire and send a signal to an alarm panel for actuation of a fire suppression system. The design of the heat detector utilizes Rate Compensation, which provides enhanced performance when compared to fixed-temperature or rate-of-rise detectors. The Model HD Detector senses the surrounding air temperature and actuates its output when the temperature reaches the pre-determined level, regardless of the fire growth rate. The unique properties of the alloy outer shell allow the Model HD to respond more quickly as the fire growth rate increases; i.e. the faster the fire grows, the sooner the unit will react. The device is furnished with an explosion-proof junction box. The detector’s electrical contact is factory wired to a screw terminal block located within the junction box. All external wiring to the device is also connected to this terminal block. The screw terminals accept wiring from 12 to 24 AWG. The junction box is available in aluminum or stainless steel, with two or four conduit entries, and either 3/4 inch NPT or 25 mm threads. The Model HD is ideally suited for use in hazardous (classified) locations. The SharpEye Mini-UV/IR Flame Detector (20/20ML) is a compact style detector featuring excellent detection sensitivity combined with enhanced immunity to false arms. This model is designed to detect hydrocarbon-based fuel fires, hydroxy and hydrogen fires, as well as metal and inorganic fires. The UV/IR flame detector senses energy in the short wave section of both the ultraviolet and infrared portions of the electromagnetic spectrum. The UV sensor incorporates a special logic circuit that helps prevent false alarms caused by solar radiation. The IR sensor is sensitive to radiation over the range of 2.5 to 3.0 microns. The signals from both sensors are analyzed for frequency, intensity and duration. Simultaneous matching of radiant energy in both the UV and IR sensors triggers an alarm signal.
