Which Air Sentry breather series fits your equipment?
Air Sentry organizes its desiccant breathers by reservoir size and duty: compact D and L series for small gearboxes, X and XR series for hydraulic reservoirs and gearboxes with higher airflow, and Z series for washdown and high-humidity service. PE Energy stocks 129 Air Sentry line items, of which 74 are desiccant breathers spanning the X, XR, L, D, M, R and Z series, so the common thread sizes and airflow ratings can ship from one order. A typical starting point is the X-50, the standard 1 inch NPT reservoir breather.
Do you stock replacement cartridges for breathers already in service?
Yes. Rebuildable Air Sentry housings take GRC series silica gel cartridges, and swapping the cartridge instead of the whole unit is the cheaper maintenance path once the gel changes color. The catalog carries 20 replacement cartridge line items, for example the GRC8S silica gel cartridge, plus PVAK pressure vacuum adapter kits such as the PVAK-1T for sealed reservoirs that must hold a slight pressure differential.
