The 20/20 mini series packs IR3 or UV/IR sensing into a compact housing for tight installs and commercial spaces; the 40/40 SharpEye series is the full size industrial detector with longer detection ranges and multispectrum options. The SharpEye Mini-IR3 Flame Detector (20/20MI) is a high performance and high reliability compact, selfcontained triple spectrum infrared flame detector. Spectrex 20/20ML Mini UV/IR Flame Detector
The SharpEye Mini-UV/IR Flame Detector (20/20ML) is a compact style detector featuring excellent detection sensitivity combined with enhanced immunity to false arms. This model is designed to detect hydrocarbon-based fuel fires, hydroxy and hydrogen fires, as well as metal and inorganic fires. The UV/IR flame detector senses energy in the short wave section of both the ultraviolet and infrared portions of the electromagnetic spectrum. The UV sensor incorporates a special logic circuit that helps prevent false alarms caused by solar radiation. The IR sensor is sensitive to radiation over the range of 2.5 to 3.0 microns. The signals from both sensors are analyzed for frequency, intensity and duration. Simultaneous matching of radiant energy in both the UV and IR sensors triggers an alarm signal. The SafEye 300 Duct Open Path Detectors monitor ingress of hazardous flammable gas concentrations into air intakes of turbine engines and HVAC air ducts. Duct applications require that the small path across an air inlet responds with a very high sensitivity, full scale of 1 LEL.m for 2-6.6ft (0.6-2m) wide inlet and full scale of 2.5 LEL.m for 6.6-23ft (2-7m) wide inlet.
