ProAction Fluids BoreShield Gel Strength and Filtration Control Additive – Case of 10 EZ Bottles
$220.00BoreShield adds gel strength & filtration control in combination with ProDrill. From fine sands to small cobble, adding BoreShield to ProDrill will provide sufficient suspension and fluid loss properties to bore in the conditions. Main Function Adds gel strength & filtration control in combination with ProDrill PRIMARY BENEFITS Gel Strength Builder- Produces gel strength for the suspension of high density and/or large grain materials when used in combination with ProDrill. From fine sands to small cobble, adding BoreShield to ProDrill will provide sufficient suspension and fluid loss properties to bore in the conditions. Filtration Control – As shown in Figure 1, BoreShield will reduce the rate of fluid leak off into the surrounding bore. This filtration control will help stabilize the bore leading to reduced pressures on pull back. Quickly Disperses – BoreShield quickly disperses into the drilling fluid with minimal shear and generally hydrates within five minutes. Cuttings Transport – When BoreShield is run with ProDrill, the increased low-end rheology (gel strength and yield point) allows sand and high density particles to be suspended in the drilling fluid, leading to more efficient cuttings removal from the bore hole. FAQs Does BoreShield work in materials other than sand? Yes, BoreShield can help stabilize any loose soil conditions and should be used in all high density, high permeability bores. Can I run BoreShield with any of the other ProAction products? BoreShield should always be run in conjunction with ProDrill, and is compatible with all other ProAction products. Will BoreShield freeze? Like most suspensions, BoreShield will get thicker as it gets colder. If it is too thick to be poured from the bag, simply massage the bag until the product can be squeezed out. -

ProAction Fluids ClayLock Clay Control Additive
$82.42 – $3,732.25Price range: $82.42 through $3,732.25ClayLock is a proprietary clay inhibitor blend used to prevent reactive clays from swelling. ClayLock binds and encapsulates clay platelets together and prevents water intrusion between the platelets - the root cause of clay swelling. It can be added to your water in a variety of ways, and the water-based formulation requires a fraction of the mixing energy required for other clay swelling prevention products. PRIMARY BENEFITS Additive to combat swelling/reactive clays Prevents clay deconsolidation Reduces torque by keeping pipe/tooling free from the “grabbing effect” of reactive clays Can be used in conjunction with ProAction’s ProBore or ProVis series FAQ’s Does the color of ClayLock have any bearing on the performance? No. There is a slight natural variation in the feedstock. Can I use ClayLock and ProDyne in the same mud blend? Yes, ProDyne and ClayLock are compatible with each other and can be used in the same mud mix. Will ClayLock freeze? ClayLock will turn to slush at temperatures below 20°F (-7°C). This does not affect the performance, and it will fully activate when introduced into a fluid system. Can ClayLock be added to a bentonite-based mix? Yes! Ensure bentonite is fully dispersed and yielded prior to the addition of ClayLock to the fluid system. Improper addition of ClayLock, like all clay additives, will reduce the effectiveness of the bentonite. Clay inhibitors should always be added AFTER full hydration of the bentonite. MIXING GUIDE 1-2 EZBs (Bags or Bottles) treats 500 gallons It is possible to run a highly concentrated dose of ClayLock directly down the drill stem if reactive clays are unexpectedly encountered during a drilling operation. Upon breaking the joints between two rods, pour between a half to full EZB of ClayLock down the rod and circulate fluid to get concentrated exposure to the reactive clays quickly. If starting with an empty tank: Fill the tank with water to roughly half of desired capacity Add ClayLock through the top of the tank. The energy of the water filling the tank will be sufficient for agitation and mixing of the product. Mix tank for 2-3 minutes for full dissolution If adding into a tank already filled to target capacity: Tank fluid must be moving either via pump or mixing jets Add ClayLock through the top of the tank Mix tank for 2-3 minutes for full dissolution -

GeoSweep LQ’s unique and versatile properties make it a great option for clay and sand-mixed soils. When should GeoSweep HD be used instead of a Bentonite-based mix? GeoSweep HD is a polymer alternative to bentonite for high-density soil conditions. While ProAction does not limit its products to a specific hole size, a safe starting point for polymer only mixes in high density soil conditions is hole sizes less than 10” and less than 500’ in total length. Should the hole size exceed those parameters and the operators’ comfortability with the product, ProAction offers a full line of bentonite and additives. MIXING GUIDE 1-2 EZB treats 500 gallons ProAction’s recommendation is to mix GeoSweep HD through the top of the tank, much like the other ProBore Series products. Should the situation dictate the usage of a hopper, ensure the hopper is free of material and completely dry. After product addition is complete, divert full flow to roll jets. To Mix GeoSweep HD For maximum performance, it is recommended the tank be rinsed of any bentonite-based products. The largest determining factor for full hydration is mix energy. Ensuring the system is operating efficiently will improve consistency of mixing. Adding GeoSweep HD to an empty tank: Begin to fill tank Ensure Pump is at full RPM Pre-treat water with ProDyne Add GeoSweep HD when volume is between 1/2 to 3/4 of the tank’s total capacity. Roll the tank and keep jets on allowing GeoSweep HD to mix and hydrate for 10 – 12 minutes after it is added Additional GeoSweep HD can be added to an already hydrated tank even after you have completed the initial mixing cycle. Mixing time may need to be extended 12 – 15 minutes when adding additional GeoSweep HD to the original mix. Look carefully at the mix to confirm that the additional GeoSweep HD has been successfully blended. Continue mixing until little or no dark spots are present to ensure full hydration. More Pro Tips to Master Your Mix How Fast? One 5-lb bag should take between 45-60 seconds to be emptied into the tank in traditional mix systems. Mix systems with less agitation might require a slower addition time. If more than 1 bag is desired, bags should be added back to back. How Long? Full hydration will show little to no dark spots in the drilling fluid. Already Full? Although ProAction recommends adding GeoSweep HD while the tank is being filled, it can be added to a full tank. For best results, recirculate the tank and add the desired dosage of GeoSweep HD where there is the most energy in the tank. -

ProAction Fluids TurboBore Synthetic Polymer HDD Fluid – Case of 5 1-gal EZ Bottles
$275.00TurboBore is a proprietary HDD fluid technology comprised of synthetic polymers that activate when introduced to water. TurboBore is best suited for sand and rocky soil, and the rheology of TurboBore can match or exceed traditional bentonite/bentonite with additives mixes at up to an 85% reduction in material weight - significantly decreasing freight costs, improving warehouse efficiency, and providing HSE uplifts. PRIMARY BENEFITS Single Product Formulation means no recipes or other additives needed; one product does it all Cuttings Fluidization leads to lower torque High Concentration Debris Removal is aided by the unique high gel strength/yield point properties of the fluid Effective Filtration Control created by the polymer matrix interacting with the bore wall FAQ’s Is it normal for the fluid/returns to look light with bubbles present? Yes. The interaction between the polymer blend being exposed to air naturally present in the soil creates a structural, activated fluid that might appear to be “light”, but in reality has properties that match or even exceed traditional bentonite mixes. Will TurboBore freeze? No. TurboBore contains a biodegradable oil that will become viscous when cold, but will not freeze. What is the difference between TurboBore and other ProAction (or competitor’s) polymer products? Not all polymers are created equal. ProAction offers several viscosifying, polymeric based products such as ProDrill, GeoSweep HD /LQ, and BoreShield. The low-end rheology to dose ratio for TurboBore is 2-3 times higher than these (and other products that claim similar properties). Even quadrupling the dosage of ProDrill (2-gallons per 500-gallons) will still result in carrying capacity and filtration control less than that of TurboBore. MIXING GUIDE 1 to 1.5+ EZ Bottles treats 500 gallons The all liquid, rapid dispersion blend of TurboBore mixes easily and quickly. The best method to introduce TurboBore to a mix system is through the top of the tank, or through a suction-type manifold. The instantaneous viscosity once the product begins to hydrate can lower the pressure drop needed for a venturi to operate effectively, which will make TurboBore extremely difficult to introduce via venturi hopper. It is not uncommon for there to be “light” fluid present in the tank; with the amount proportional to product dosage and mixing energy. Continued “heavy” loadings (greater than 1.5 gallons per tank) can result in un-hydrated polymer being present in the system; it is critical to monitor your tank to ensure consistent performance. To Mix TurboBore: For maximum performance, it is recommended the tank be rinsed of any bentonite-based products. The largest determining factor for full hydration is mixing energy. Ensuring the system is operating efficiently will improve consistency of mixing. Adding TurboBore to empty tank: Fill tank to 50% of capacity (or just above roll jets) Set Mixing System pump at full rpm with flow directed through roll jets Add desired TurboBore loading through the top of the tank as the it is filled with the remaining balance of water Allow tank to continue agitating via the rolls jets for 5-8 minutes to ensure full dispersion and hydration Adding TurboBore to empty tank: Set Mixing System pump at full rpm with flow directed through roll jets Add desired TurboBore loading through the top of the tank Allow tank to continue agitating via the rolls jets for 5-8 minutes to ensure full dispersion and hydration
