Det-Tronics Duct-Mounting Kits for PointWatch Eclipse Model PIRECL
The Direct Duct Mount Assembly (p/n 007525-XXX series) (Spec Sheet: 90-1151) is FM approved for use with PointWatch Eclipse model PIRECL to be installed directly within air handling ductwork. The assembly is mounted on the duct wall, with the PIRECL sensing chamber exposed directly to duct airflow, ensuring fast response to Methane. A built-in calibration gas nozzle with an external, self-sealing fitting enables testing and calibration without removal of the detector from the duct. Not recommended for applications where duct air temperatures can exceed 167 °F (75 °C). Price includes all necessary hardware for proper operation, but does not include the PointWatch Eclipse PIRECL gas detector. A factory pre-assembled Direct Duct Mount Kit is available (p/n 007529-XXX series) that provides a PIRECL detector prefit into the Direct Duct Mount kit assembly. Pricing for the 007529-XXX assembly includes the PIRECL gas detector. The Direct Duct Mount Assembly complies to the ANSI/ISA-12.13.01-2000 performance standards. Det-Tronics FlexSonic Acoustic Detector
The FlexSonic® Acoustic Detector – comprised of the AC100 Acoustic Sensor and the ATX10 Acoustic Transmitter (Spec Sheet: 90-1208) is designed to recognize the unique frequency content of events such as gas leaks. When a pressurized gas leak occurs, the frequency content of the sound being generated extends beyond the audible portion of the spectrum into the ultrasonic region (above 20 kHz). The intensity of the sound generated by a leak is determined by several factors including pressure differential, leak rate, gas viscosity, and distance from the leak source. Acoustic detection is less susceptible to environmental factors (such as high winds) that can degrade the ability of traditional sensing technology based on gas concentration to detect the presence of a leak. When combined with line-of-sight and/or point gas detectors, the additional layer of protection provided by the FlexSonic Acoustic Detector offers the ultimate solution for gas leak detection. The Model PIRDUCT DuctWatch (Spec Sheet: 90-1188) is an infrared (IR) based flammable gas detection/monitoring solution ideal for combustion turbine enclosure detection/monitoring and sample air handling ductwork applications. The DuctWatch is easy to install and commission, and does not require expensive extractive sampling system hardware. Providing a full scale measurement range of 0 to 15% LFL (7500 ppm) methane vapor concentration, the DuctWatch delivers a new level of flammable hydrocarbon gas protection for high airflow environments. PIRDUCT is compatible for mounting on any flat mounting surface, and is provided with a solid mounting plate with seal gasket to prevent air leakage. Det-Tronics PIRECL Accessories and Sample Draw
The AMS TREX Device Communicator is available from Det-Tronics. The intrinsically safe AMS TREX Communicator enable connection to the PIRECL via the onboard optional HART port connection. Features include a 5.7 inch (14.5 cm) resistive touchscreen display, loop power to power a device, and loop diagnostics. The Remote HART Port Kit and Remote HART cable kit (Manual: 95-8553) are used with the Model PIRECL PointWatch Eclipse IR gas detector to provide access to the Eclipse’s optional onboard, intrinsically-safe HART port for a distance up to 20 meters. Cable set is 20 meter long, 2-core, shielded 20 AWG conductors with overall PVC-jacket, and is IEC332 approved. The standard factory-installed Weather Baffle (Spec Sheet: 90-1155) for the PIRECL Eclipse comes with a 3/16” (4.8 mm) barb fitted inlet tube. A special replacement weather baffle is available with a 1/16” FNPT, internally-threaded calibration gas opening. It enables users to install a threaded compression fitting (not supplied) into the baffle for use with plastic or metal tubing, and is 007529-XXX Direct Duct compatible. The Q300A Sample Draw Cup (Manual: 95-8706) enables the Model PIRECL Eclipse to function within a gas sampling system. It consists of an outer cup assembly with stainless-steel, inlet/outlet compression fittings for 0.25 inch diameter tubing, a special inner baffle assembly with external threaded extension, and silicon gaskets to ensure proper cup assembly seal is provided. The PointWatch Eclipse PIRECL Hydrocarbon Detector (Spec Sheet: 90-1138) is our most rugged stainless steel, point infrared gas detector providing detection of methane, propane, butane and ethylene, among other flammable hydrocarbon gases in the LFL range. Standard signal outputs include isolated 4-20 mA, HART communication protocol, and RS 485 serial communication supporting Modbus. An Eagle Quantum Premier (EQP) version, and optional 2-alarm plus 1-fault relay package are also available. A tri-color LED provides visual display of operating status. The weather baffle provides excellent optics protection with an easy twist-lock removal. Presentation The CTX 300 can detect O2, CO2, toxic and refrigerant gases. TELEDYNE Gas & Flame Detection offers a detector version with a wide range of sensors (infrared, electrochemical, semiconductor) according to your application needs. It is also available with or without display. Simplicity Sensor replacement does not require any special menu access. Just replace the sensor without even powering down the transmitter! Reduced maintenance As the only consumable element, the CTX 300 sensor is easily replaceable. New sensors come pre-calibrated from the factory. So during the sensor ex-change, no calibration gas is required, nor adjustments to the detector, or remote central controller are required. The MultiXplo DG-TX7 is an intelligent catalytic sensor based flammable gas detector used to detect a wide range of gases, including hydrogen (H2). The device has been designed for ease of installation, operation and maintenance in testing environments. The MultiXplo DG-TX7 employs a pair of OXYCOL catalytic sensors in a compensated circuitry in order to provide reliable flammable gas detection in harsh environments, as long as oxygen is present. The intelligent microprocessor driven unit is fully configurable using a wireless handheld terminal (TLU) or optionally via HART giving true flexibility to the installer. Available in explosion-proof or intrinsically safe versions, the OLCT 100 is suitable for detection of all gases in ATEX zones. The OLCT 10N is a digital gas detector designed for detection of the most common gases in commercial and light industrial applications. Intended for use in combination with the MX 16, MX 32, MX43 or MX 256, the OLCT 10N provides a fast and accurate response. Up to 32 detectors can be connected on the same digital line or distributed on 8 lines. All transmitter information is received by the controller in less than 1 second. Oldham Simtronics OLCT 20 Fixed Gas Detector
The OLCT 20 series sensors are designed for initial assembly applications, which can be installed in shelters, on skids, for monitoring in very small spaces or for on-board applications. They are mounted via M25 or 3/4" NPT threads or a special accessory to ensure a robust mounting without the need for an additional junction box. The OLCT 20 transmitters provide a 4-20mA output that can be directly connected to PLCs with a maximum current consumption of 100mA at 24VDC. They are certified ATEX explosion-proof by INERIS. Their IIC T6, makes them perfectly suited for the detection of hydrogen. The stainless steel detectors offer protection and resistance to corrosive agents. IP 66 rated, they are resistant to dust and water splashes. The OLCT 20's pre-calibrated sensors can be disconnected from the holder by rotation. These "smart" sensors can be calibrated on a workbench, outside of hazardous areas. Catalytic oxidation sensors for combustible gases are specially treated to resist poisons. They benefit from extremely fast response times and total reliability. The OLCT 60 Series is available in several versions: Explosion-proof XP or intrinsically safe IS sensor (combustible, toxic or oxygen versions). Remote or on-board sensor. The OLCT 60 can be remotely mounted, allowing detection in inaccessible locations or in Zone 0 or 20 in the case of the intrinsically safe (IS) version. The OLCT 60 is equipped with a local display and non-intrusive access to a safe menu. In hazardous areas, calibration can be done without the need of a hot work permit. The detector units are made of 316L stainless steel, and are rugged and resistant to corrosion. Certified IP66, the OLCT 60 is sealed against dust and splash water. Operation traceability The operator can check records locally for the most recent time-date stamped events. Communication Remote dialogue with the sensor using IR remote control. Measurement power supply redundancy Independent ports allow a redundant connection to the measurement unit. Low power requirements The leading edge technology used in the OLCT80 transmitter makes it very energy efficient. This major advantage means that more sensors can be connected, with smaller wire cross-sections and over greater distances. Logistic advantages Loop arrangement The transmitter is perfectly adapted to mounting and connection to the digital fieldbus loop of the MX 62 unit.
