BESTOLIFE 658010 4010 NM
BESTOLIFE® 4010® NM is the fourth generation of the BESTOLIFE® family of non metallic thread compounds for rotary-shouldered and premium connections, designed and developed to address environmental concerns in ecologically sensitive areas of the world. APPLICATIONS Non metallic compound for rotary connections and proprietary premium self sealing casing/tubing connections. Effective for use on slides, jacking systems, cantilever type rigs and assemblies. Salt Spray Corrosion Protection for up to 1500 hours. 4010® NM is non conductive and resistant to high pH/brine water. TECHNICAL DATA BESTOLIFE® 4010® NM is the fourth generation of the highly successful BESTOLIFE® family of compounds designed with biodegradable greases and synthetic lubricating fluids, developed to address the environmental concerns related to the use of thread compounds for rotary-shouldered and premium connections, in ecologically sensitive areas of the world such as the North Sea, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, the South Atlantic, Alaska, and Sakhalin Island. BESTOLIFE® 4010® NM combines the excellent low-temperature application properties of BESTOLIFE® 3010® Ultra with superior downhole galling resistance and enhanced eco-toxicological properties to provide the ideal drill string solution for all rotary-shouldered (drill pipe/tool joints/drill collars) and many proprietary premium self-sealing casing/tubing connection applications, irrespective of offshore drilling location. Applies easily to cold, wet connections exposed to seawater in ambient temperatures as low as -40ºF/-40ºC and yet provides optimum protection in the deepest, hottest holes. Will provide lubrication and protection to 600º F/316º C and the solids will protect to 1,000ºF/538º C. Has the ability to prevent galling of contact surfaces (including non-magnetic materials) under high bearing loads and to form a continuous gasket between the shoulders of a rotary connection during makeup. This is achieved through the innovative combination of graphite and other non-toxic materials, which interact to form a seal when compressed between seals, threads, and shoulders during makeup to provide performance properties that are equal to the very best heavy metal compounds. This gasket-like seal prevents connection washout, even under high internal fluid pressures and the combined loading of directional drilling, to provide maximum protection in the toughest conditions. Meets the performance requirements of many proprietary metal-to-metal seal casing/tubing and high interference connection designs in Carbon Steel, 13 Cr., Super-Chrome and Duplex Steels. Contains biodegradable greases and synthetic lubricating fluids Approved running compound for VAM® connections. BMG 6000 DRUM Open Gear Lubricants
$2,501.45Whitmore’s BMG-6000 is an open gear and bushing lubricant designed for use on the most severely loaded applications. It is especially useful where gears have previously been damaged due to severe load or poor lubrication. BMG-6000 contains a synergistic blend of antiwear and extreme pressure additives designed to protect and smooth gear surfaces under the most severe conditions of high load, slow speed, and shock load. The wear protection package comprises conventional solid lubricants plus a new generation of oil-soluble additives. Using conventional lubricants, it is normal for new surfaces to improve somewhat during the running-in process. Using BMG-6000, running-in surface improvement becomes more pronounced. The BMG-6000 performance difference is seen on older gears that are suffering from wear damage. Pre-existing wear will smooth out, forming a shiny load-bearing area. The value to the end user can hardly be overstated. The service life of gears, whether new or previously damaged, will be greatly extended. Also, it is common for noise, vibrations, and temperature readings to decline soon after switching to BMG-6000. If your gearing suffers from pitting, scuffmarks or other manifestations of wear, expect the gear surface to improve. Expect noise and vibration levels to drop, and equipment to last longer. BENEFITS: WEAR PROTECTION – prevents pitting, scuffing, and metal deformation under high load. Extends gear life. NOISE REDUCTION – reduction in noise and vibrations frequently occurs within days of switching to BMG-6000. SURFACE IMPROVEMENT – on highly loaded gears that suffer wear damage. PUMPABLE – can be pumped safely and sprayed through automatic lubrication systems at temperatures down to 25°F (-4°C). APPLICATIONS: BMG-6000 can be used in virtually any open gear application such as sugar mills, ball mills, rod mills, kilns, dryers, and granulators. It is also ideal for bushings, especially those operating under high load and at slow speed. BMG-6000 has also been used successfully to extend component life on older draglines operating in a warm climate.Size and Type Container: Drum Weight: 446 LBS -
