SCBA Parts & Accessories
SCBA parts and accessories are what an air mask fleet actually consumes: cylinders, batteries, control modules, heads-up displays, communications kits and carrying cases. PE Energy stocks MSA G1, M7, AirHawk and Firehawk service parts and upgrade kits so a unit can be returned to service, or brought up to current capability, without replacing the apparatus.

Which MSA G1 cylinder assembly do I order?
Cylinder assemblies are specified by working pressure and rated duration, and the two are not independent: the 30 minute rating is offered at both pressures, but the longer durations are 4500 psig only. Order against the pressure your own fill station or cascade system supplies.
| Working pressure | Rated duration | Supplied with air | Supplied less air |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2216 psig | 30 minutes | 10156422-SP | 10156431-SP |
| 4500 psig | 30 minutes | 10156423-SP | 10156432-SP |
| 4500 psig | 45 minutes | 10156425-SP | 10156434-SP |
| 4500 psig | 45 minutes, low profile | 10156424-SP | 10156433-SP |
| 4500 psig | 60 minutes | 10156426-SP | 10156435-SP |
The “less air” column is the one buyers miss. Every duration is stocked in both forms, so a site with its own fill capability is not paying to ship compressed air, and a site without one is not left commissioning an empty bottle. The low profile 45 minute assembly exists for a different reason again: same duration, flatter carry, for work in confined spaces where a standard bottle catches.
Are quick connect adapters interchangeable between pressures?
No. The quick connect adapters are pressure-specific and a mixed fleet needs both parts on the shelf, which is a common source of a stalled refill at an incident.
The two stocked parts split the range cleanly: 10149701-SP covers 2216/3000 psig service and 10149702-SP covers 4500/5500 psig. If your fleet spans both working pressures, as it does anywhere 2216 psig legacy units run alongside 4500 psig G1s, stock both rather than assuming one adapter travels. For filling without doffing the apparatus, the remote quick-fill kit and the pouch and 3 ft hose kit complete that setup.
What powers the electronics on a G1, and is the charger included?
The G1 electronics run on a rechargeable battery pack, and the battery and its charger are sold as separate line items. Ordering the battery alone leaves you with nothing to charge it on.
The two parts are the G1 rechargeable battery, whose product title states plainly that the charger is not included, and the G1 smart charger. For a fleet, the useful ratio is spare batteries per unit rather than one each, because the constraint at a callout is a charged pack on the rack, not the number of chargers on the wall.
Can I add thermal imaging or a heads-up display to apparatus already in service?
Yes. Both are sold as upgrade and replacement kits that fit existing units, which is normally a fraction of the cost of new apparatus and avoids retraining crews on a different platform.
The G1 control module with integrated thermal imaging camera comes in two versions matched to cylinder pressure, 2216 psig and 45/5500 psig, so check the fleet pressure before quoting. The M7 integrated heads-up display is stocked as a medium or large nosecup kit, as a new replacement kit, and, worth asking for before a new one is quoted, as a reconditioned replacement kit and a reconditioned kit with medium nosecup. Firehawk units move to push-to-connect with the MMR quick connect or threaded regulator kit.
How do I fix an SCBA the wearer cannot be heard through?
Speech intelligibility through a full facepiece is an equipment problem with stocked parts, not something a crew has to work around. The ClearCommand system is carried both as a complete kit and as the individual components that fail first.
Order the complete ClearCommand amplifier kit for a first fit. For repairs, the line is broken out into the amplifier, the radio interface version and its radio interface kit, the voicemitter assembly and its bracket kit, the mounting bracket kit, the lens ring mounting clip, the dust cover kit and the speaking diaphragm retainer. The ESP II voice amplifier covers the earlier platform.
Which storage case fits which cylinder?
Cases are cut to the cylinder, not to the apparatus, so the same mask can need a different case depending on the bottle fitted. Two are stocked and they do not overlap.
The single case for H30 cylinders is exactly that, H30 only. The second single case covers LP30, HP45, HP60 and low profile cylinders. For vehicle and wall mounting rather than transport, the walkaway bracket for LP 30 minute SCBA is the corresponding part.
Need a part identified?
If you have an MSA part number, search it above. If you have a unit in front of you and no number, tell us the platform (G1, M7, AirHawk II or Firehawk), the cylinder pressure and what has failed, and our team will identify the part and confirm pricing and lead time. Request a quote and we will respond promptly.
