Medallion White Anti-Seize is a premium quality assembly paste that provides excellent protection from seizure, galling, rust and corrosion. It has been registered with NSF as H-1 and is suitable for use in food processing plants where incidental contact with food may occur. Medallion White Anti-Seize protects metal surfaces from wear due to vibrations that can occur under static contact conditions. Seizure can occur in these tight-fitting applications. Under high load the contacting metal is subjected to slight wear, resulting in very small wear particles that are particularly prone to oxidation. As the wear particles oxidize, they greatly increase in volume. This process is known as fretting corrosion and it results in a tight fit, making disassembly more difficult. The solid materials in Medallion White Anti-Seize form a coating that separates surface asperities during contact under high pressure and prevents fretting corrosion.
