The softer NLGI 1 grade pumps easily through valve injection systems in moderate temperatures, sealing and lubricating valve bodies against abrasive frac fluids and proppant. Jet-Lube publishes pumpability down to -30°F (-36°C) when it is run through a high pressure lubricator using a low pour point oil. The published service rating for the sealant is greater than -45°F (-43°C) to greater than 400°F (204°C).
