What are Appleton NEC 6x8x Mogul Conduit Outlet Bodies, Covers, and Gaskets?

Appleton NEC 6x8x Mogul Conduit Outlet Bodies, Covers, and Gaskets are used to connect and change direction of conduit runs. The larger body size facilitates pulling of large and heavy conductors, and the specially designed raised cast cover, with captive screws, permits easy access to conductors for splicing and maintenance. They have accurately tapped, tapered threads for tight, rigid joints and ground continuity. A smooth, rounded integral bushing in each hub protects conductor insulation. Type C, LB, and UB 1-1/4 inch and up have exclusive built-in rollers to facilitate cable pulling.
