These pin and sleeve receptacles provide Style 2 (shell and extra pole) grounding, and positive polarization, ensuring only plugs of the same style, number of poles, and amperage rating may be used. The ACP plugs have mechanical cable clamps to prevent strain on cables; they meet or exceed UL strain relief pull-out requirements.
