Appleton EB Series Bolt-ON Series Circuit Breakers and Enclosures are CSA Certified to be used for the protection and control of electrical equipment and circuits. The thermal magnetic breakers provide short circuit protection and thermal time delay overload protection, plus a disconnect means for service entrances and feeder or branch circuits used for lighting, heating, motors and equipment. Ideal for use in hazardous locations or in damp, wet or corrosive environments, the explosionproof, dust-ignitionproof enclosure surfaces are precision ground to explosionproof specifications. The breaker handle is positive operating and accommodates up to 3 locks. The breaker actuator is designed to self-locate on the breaker handle, preventing damage to the breaker toggle if the door is closed without aligning handle with breaker toggle position. The left side cover hinges are removable, allowing easier access to the interior for installation and maintenance, or can be left in place during routine maintenance to help protect the explosionproof machined surface. With four removable mounting lugs with key holes, the EB Series can easy be installed as an individual mounting or on a rack.
