Appleton BKX Round Junction Boxes

What are Appleton BKX Round Junction Boxes?

Appleton BKX Round Junction Boxes are used to join and change direction in conduit runs and can serve as pulling fittings. These boxes provide openings for splicing and permit easy access to conductors for maintenance. They have accurately tapped, tapered threads for tight, rigid joints and ground continuity. A smooth, rounded integral bushing in each hub protects conductor insulation. BKX is suitable for exposed or concealed installations, and when used with a gasket, they are weatherproof. They are enclosed and gasketed when used with a hub or blank cover which provides a CSA Type 4 fit. The BKX junction boxes are dust-ignitionproof when supplied for Class II applications.
