Appleton ATX MS Series Motor Starters provide disconnecting means and overload protection in areas where hazardous materials are handled or stored. The MS Series feature magnetic circuit breakers to eliminating the need for fuse replacement. These flameproof motor starters are ideal for use in wet, corrosive environments or where either continuously or intermittently, ignitable vapors, gases or flammable dusts are present. The MS is available with a three-pole contactor, thermal overload relay with manual reset push button, and a green pilot light. They can be used with armored or unarmored cable in conjunction with appropriate ATEX/IECEx certified cable glands.
