Appleton GS Conduit Outlet Boxes, Covers, and Hangers

What are Appleton GS Conduit Outlet Boxes, Covers, and Hangers?

Appleton GS Conduit Outlet Boxes, Covers, and Hangers are used to join and change direction in conduit runs and can serve as pulling fittings. These boxes provide openings for splicing and permit easy access to conductors for maintenance. The extra wide mating surfaces of the GS box and cover provide greater gasket contact for a more positive seal. When used with a gasket, they are weatherproof. They are raintight when enclosed and gasketed with a hub or blank cover. The bodies are furnished with four threaded universal 3/4-inch hubs, four 3/4-to-1/2-inch reducers, three close-up plugs, and mounting lugs. The cushion fixture hangers are enclosed and gasketed.
