Appleton EDS Heavy Duty Disconnect Switches can function as load either a disconnect switch or as an individual motor control switch. Ideal for use in hazardous locations or in damp, wet or corrosive environments, the explosionproof, dust-ignitionproof enclosure surfaces are precision ground to explosionproof specifications. The internal handle actuator is self-locating and spring-mounted and the external handle accommodates up to 3 locks which can be used to lock it in the ON or OFF position. The left side cover hinges are removable, allowing easier access to the interior for installation and maintenance, or can be left in place during routine maintenance to help protect the explosionproof machined surface.
