What is the Sealweld Winter Lube #7030 Valve Sealant?

Winter-Lube #7030 is a synthetic-based lubricant that Sealweld designed specifically for sub-zero winter climates, where conventional sealants become too stiff to pump. Its additives give excellent low-temperature pumping and lower operating torque; it can be used year-round, is insoluble in water, oil and all hydrocarbon services, and is suitable for sour service. (Sealweld describes Winter-Seal #2525 as the same base formula as Winter-Lube #7030 with added PTFE, for sealing leak paths up to 0.030″.)

Ball, gate, plug, blow-down, pig launcher/receiver valves; above-ground valves; refineries, wellheads, pump/compressor stations, gas distribution systems.
