Synthetic components allow these fluids to be used over a wide temperature range, from -40°F (-40° C) to 275°F (135° C).
Unique chemistry provides excellent extreme pressure and antiwear properties resulting in lower wear.
The GF Series is extremely shear-stable, which is necessary to maintain long oil life and extend change-out intervals.
Reduces gearbox operating temperatures.
Helps dislodge the sludge that often remains from the previous use of inferior products.
GF Series oils are non-corrosive and compatible with seals.
Compatible with conventional petroleum gear oils as well as synthetic oils, with the exception of PAG (glycols).
BENEFITS:
- LOW WEAR – the additive system prevents scuffing and pitting.
- SAFE – will not harm copper-based components such as bearing cages.
- LONG LIFE – results from the slow depletion of additives combined with minimal formation of sludge and low levels of wear particles.
APPLICATIONS:
The GF Series is recommended for heavily loaded gearboxes used in mining and general industry. Use in applications calling for oils that meet the specifications GL-2 to GL-5, and Mil-L-2105C. GF oils are not suitable for use in worm gearboxes.
