DRAG ROPE LUBRICANT HF Drum Chain and Cable Fluids

Whitmore’s Drag Rope Lubricant HF is equally beneficial to ropes sheaves. It coats the external strands of wire ropes, then transfers to the sheave contact areas and protects both the rope and sheave. Rope life is extended and sheave rebuild and replacement costs are dramatically reduced. The same benefit applies to drum laggings.
Whitmore’s Drag Rope Lubricant HF is a blend of anti-wear additives in a heavy asphaltic base. The viscosity is reduced using a TCLP-SAFE non-chlorinated solvent. After application to the rope, the solvent dries and a durable coating forms on both rope and sheave.
On some Draglines, in certain dig and dump cycles, the sheave can rotate momentarily in the opposite direction to the travel of the rope. Drag Rope Lubricant HF forms a coating that is dense enough to prevent sliding abrasion that can shorten the life of components.
With Drag Rope Lubricant HF there is some penetration into the rope, but it does not reach the inner strands and does not dilute the grease that was installed by the original equipment manufacturer.
BENEFITS:
- TCLP-SAFE – passes EPA Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure, which reduces disposal costs.
- EXCELLENT ANTIWEAR AND EP CAPABILITY – greatly extends the life of ropes and sheaves.
- RUST PROTECTION – selected additives protect against rust and corrosion formation.
- NON-CHLORINATED FORMULATION – no ozone depleting chemicals.
APPLICATIONS:
Drag Rope Lubricant HF can be used to extend the life of any wire rope including Hoist and Drag ropes on Draglines, and ropes used on Cranes and Mining Shovels.
Easily applied by automatic or manual systems. Whitmore’s Drag Rope Lubricant dries quickly to a tack-free finish.

WHITMORES 888 EP 1 Pail Greases
$134.70Whitmore's 888 is primarily designed for use in heavy earthmoving and industrial equipment. The high protection from extreme pressure makes it suitable for use anywhere high load is encountered. Protection from wear under high load is accomplished by the use of SL-Tech, a proprietary blend of light-colored solid lubricants. This forms a protective cushion and provides greater extreme pressure properties than MoS2 or graphite. Protection is further enhanced by the use of selected additives that increase film strength and adhesion.BENEFITS: VERSATILE FORMULATION - one grease can cover all normal ambient temperature applications in the slow to medium speed range. EXTREME PRESSURE/ANTI-WEAR - protects against scoring, high shock load conditions, thus reducing downtime and costs of replacement parts. SAFE – contains no heavy metals or hazardous ingredients. APPLICATIONS: 888 grease is ideal for heavy-duty plant lubrication, earthmoving equipment and applications involving extreme pressure. For the most severely loaded applications such as bearings on vertical roller mills, pelletizing mills or shaker screens, use Whitmore’s Matrix EP 2. Size and Type Container: Pail Weight: 38 LBS. -

KOPR-KOTE ARCTIC 5 GALLON
$284.67Oilfield Tool Joint & Drill Collar Compound - Arctic Formula Jet-Lube Kopr-Kote Arctic Drill Collar and Tool Joint Compound is a premium-quality, unleaded compound containing copper flake, graphite, and other natural extreme pressure and anti-wear additives. KOPR-KOTE ARCTIC uses the same solids package formulated to prevent excessive circumferential makeup by increasing the coefficient of friction under compressive forces as standard KOPR-KOTE®. For severe cold drilling applications KOPR-KOTE ARCTIC utilizes very low pour-point naphthenic oil which greatly improves the applicability of the compounds to the connection while providing the same water resistance of standard KOPR-KOTE. Benefits of using Kopr-Kote Arctic Repeatable frictional characteristics Resistance to downhole make-up Highly adhesive Improved low temperature applicability Contains no lead or zinc Extreme pressure additives Sticks to wet joints Benefits Repeatable frictional characteristics High temp complex grease Resistance to make up downhole Not considered a marine pollutant Highly adhesive Specifications Base Materials: Anhydrous Calcium / Petroleum Friction / K-Factor: 1.15 (drill strings) Relative to API RP 7G, 1.40 (relative to API-Mod) Relative to API RP 5A3 Certifications: Not classified as marine pollutant - DOT Approval CA2004080025 View all -
