What is Deacon 454-T Injectable Sealant?

#1 Best-Selling Curing Compound for Chemicals. Dense putty-like heat curing sealant, Brown color, Heavy fiber concentration. Below 550ºF (288ºC), speed up the cure by adding 103-P Accelerator. 454-T is a thinner consistency than 454 (closer to consistency of 3100-S). 454 contains no solvent. Shelf-life is 6 months in closed container. Refrigerated storage recommended.

What temperature does it take, and what is it chosen against?

Service rating 250F to 950F (121C to 510C). That places it at the same service band as 454, chosen on consistency rather than on temperature. In practice it is chosen against 454 itself, which is the denser putty, and 3100-S, whose consistency 454-T is closest to.
