Caliber™ 460 M
Caliber™ 460 M is a robust, lithium complex grease containing molybdenum disulfide (MOS2). It's designed to lubricate components of heavy-duty equipment and rolling stock. Caliber 460M provides extended service intervals and reduces wear.
Ideal for heavy earthmoving and industrial equipment, the Caliber™ Blue series is perfect for heavy-duty plant lubrication, high load applications and applications involving extreme pressure. This performance grease reduces downtime and replacement costs by protecting equipment against scoring and high shock load conditions. Caliber Blue excels in warm climates.
Caliber™ 3M & 5M meet the original Caterpillar "MPGM" specification. These greases contain 3% and 5% molybdenum disulfide (MoS2). Caliber 3M and 5M greases are designed primarily for use in mining equipment, such as draglines and shovels, drills, earthmoving equipment, and other heavy-duty rolling stock applications. These greases are perfect for wheel and slewing bearings, chassis points and U-joints, as well as pivot points and bucket pins. It forms a protective barrier to reduce wear and extend lubricant life, reducing parts replacement and downtime.
The most robust, lithium-based, bearing grease in the Whitmore lubricant line. This extreme pressure grease is designed for heavy duty applications. Whitmore recommends this product where the most severe, high and shock loads are encountered. Ideal for warm climates.
DET-900 is a stable, nonflammable, chemically inert grease designed for use in any grease-lubricated applications where high temperatures, chemicals or radiation creates difficulties. Also suitable where very long lubricant life is required, DET-900 will prove serviceable for continuous temperatures up to 400°F (204°C) with minimal re-lubrication. These grease can withstand temperatures up to 575° F (300°C).
Dura-Film™ XD is a calcium sulfonate grease with fully synthetic oil designed to protect equipment under the most severe conditions of high load, shock load, water and chemical attack. The base fluid is a blend of synthetic polyalphaolefin (PAO) oils for ease of pumping at low temperature. The addition of synthetic polymers gives adhesion to metal. Dura-Film XD is very robust and pumpable in cold climates, down to -20°F (-29°C).
Earthkeeper® EP is a biodegradable, high performance lubricating grease based on calcium sulfonate thickener and a blend of semi-synthetic biodegradable oils. This extreme pressure grease is suitable for a wide range of applications, including equipment under severe load, shock load and vibrations.
Earthkeeper® WRL penetrates to the core, ensuring that the rope is lubricated throughout. The biodegradable wire rope oil is treated with additives that enhance anti wear capabilities and even provide a degree of extreme pressure protection. With Earthkeeper WRL, downtime for rope changes is reduced and production is increased.
GearMate® 1000 contains a high molecular weight polymer extender that resists drying, oxidation and thermal decomposition. This is extremely helpful in areas of high dust contamination or when typical weather conditions can cause peeling and flaking from sticks, gears, and circle rails. Whitmore's blend of solid and oil-soluble anti-wear additives provides superior load carrying ability and high performance wear resistance in an environmentally safe package.
GearMate® 1000 ICT
Whitmore's toughest lubricant recommended for use on draglines and shovels. This lubricant contains a high molecular weight polymer that resists drying, oxidation, and thermal decomposition. It does not emulsify in water, making it ideal for components exposed to rain, ice and snow, and in many areas, a single grade can be used year-round. GearMate 1000ICT is enhanced with an improved coating technology that establishes a dark, non-transparent coating on metal so operators can easily identify the lubricant is in its correct place and quantity.
Nowhere is grease pumpability more important than on mining machines such as draglines and shovels. The lubrication lines are long, the temperature can drop to deep freeze conditions, and in many parts of the world the machines don’t stop in cold weather. Legacy M will pump to the boom point sheave bearing at -50 degrees F (-46°C). The thickener, synthetic oil and polymer in Legacy M have been selected with ease of pumping in mind, yet without sacrificing performance in summer conditions. For all but the hottest climates, this is an ideal high-performance multipurpose grease. This grease is highly water-resistant and suitable for use where low temperatures or water are present.
Suitable for use in high speed bearings up to DN speed 500,000.
Whitmore’s best bearing grease for demanding applications. Matrix® EP protects in difficult applications and conditions far beyond conventional grease. It protects against heat, high load, corrosion or infrequent lubrication. Matrix EP extends lubrication frequency using less grease, preventing premature wear.
Designed for use with temperatures up to 400°F (200°C).
Matrix EP 2 may be used at DN speeds up to 200,000. Matrix TK 2 (NLGI grade 2) is designed for slower moving bearings up to 150,000 DN.
Matrix® LC is a heavy-duty addition to the Whitmore line of extreme pressure greases. This grease answers demands for a calcium sulfonate complex grease that is pumpable in cold weather and is suitable for higher speed bearings (Matrix® “light” for higher speed bearings).
Medallion™ FM Grease
Medallion™ FM Grease is a premium, water-resistant, versatile extreme pressure lubricant which provides excellent protection from wear under a wide range of conditions, including heavy load and frequent washdowns. It is registered with NSF as an H-1 grease and Kosher Approved. This makes it suitable for use in food processing plants where incidental contact with food is possible.
Moly P is a multipurpose grease formulated to provide excellent lubrication to all phases of plant operations. It's specifically designed for wet applications. This diverse product utilizes a lithium/calcium, 12-hydroxy thickener which provides superior mechanical stability, water resistance, oxidation and corrosion resistance, as well as extreme pressure properties.
Novagard® is designed to lubricate anti-friction bearings and bushings. It is recommended for pivot points and bucket pins on earthmoving equipment, as well as vehicle chassis points and U-joints. Novagard® protects against shock loads, welding and scoring, resulting in fewer replacement parts and reduced downtime. Novagard® is recommended for cold climates, the softest grade can be used at -45°F (-43°C).
Novatemp™ is a high temperature grease designed to lubricate bearings, bushings and other sliding components at high temperatures when over extended re-lube cycles are unavoidable. At high temperatures, solids take over as the fluid portion evaporates. Novatemp contains almost 15% lubricating solids. After the base oil has evaporated, the MoS2 and graphite in this lubricant provide a laminating film that protects sliding and rolling machine elements.
Novatemp is designed for use on bushings and sliding applications up to 750°F (400°C).
Omnilith™ 360 is a lithium soap based grease designed for use in a wide range of applications. The lithium 12- hydroxystearic soap base provides high shear stability, low oil separation and low hardening tendency. These qualities allow for an extension of re-lubrication intervals, reducing lubrication costs. For temperature use up to 210°F (100°C).
Omnilith™ 500 is an extreme pressure grease suitable for use in severe applications across a wide variety of operating conditions including high load, moisture and a wide speed range. The lithium complex soap base allows for use at temperatures up to 450°F (232°C). Omnilith 500 EP 2 is the ideal choice as a multipurpose grease in the heavy-duty industry where extreme pressure or high temperature performance is required.
Omnitask® grease is designed for heavily loaded operations in the lower speed range and in all situations where high load, shock load and high vibrations can lead to premature component wear. To be an extremely effective extreme pressure (EP) package, Whitmore has added graphite and molybdenum disulfide (MoS2). The combination of high base oil viscosity, EP package and solid lubricants provides synergies that assure maximum protection from wear and seizure under the most difficult conditions.
For central lubrication systems, use Omnitask® EP. Do not use Omnitask® TK on central systems.
Omnitemp® is specifically formulated to withstand the rigorous effects of high temperatures. Its non-melting base ensures that it remains in service when other greases would melt and/or run out. Omnitemp offers unmatched protection when high temperatures are a consideration; this is a benefit to industries involved in the production of paper, glass, brick and ceramics, as well as power generation, metal producing and processing. For use up to 400°F (200°C). Contains MoS2.
Onyx™ is an extreme pressure, calcium sulfonate complex grease is specifically designed for use on roughing and finishing mills where high resistance to water is essential. The thickener has natural ability to shut out water. This has been greatly augmented by the addition of water-repelling materials including special polymers.
Designed using the latest technology in extreme pressure/antiwear chemistry, SurStik® 800 is a high-performance, extreme pressure lubricant formulated for use on open gears. It works well in highly loaded components under the most punishing conditions and easily forms a protective film. SurStik 800 is highly resistant to being washed out. Meets Bucyrus specification.
Vortex™ is a durable and tacky coupling grease specifically formulated for long-term lubrication of greased grid and gear type mechanical couplings. This highly effective grease can be used in any size couplings, at all speeds, and in the presence of water and steam.
