Appleton XP Series Non-Factory Sealed Circuit Breaker Panelboards are used to provide protection and control of electrical apparatus and circuits in corrosive environments or where flammable gases or vapors are likely to be present. Ideal for use in indoor or outdoor hazardous locations, the explosionproof, dust-ignitionproof enclosure surfaces are precision ground to explosionproof specifications. The XP is available in four panel sizes with bolt on breakers, and a removable hinged cover to allow unobstructed access to the interior. The exclusive rotary-slide circuit breaker operators have positive action and will align with breakers in ON or OFF position when cover is closed. Each breaker can be locked in ON or OFF position. A main breaker is available, saving time and the expense of installing a second enclosure.
