Texsteam TA 4092 – Valve and Seal Component

TA 4092 is a Texsteam internal valve and seal component for chemical injection pumps in the 1200, 3700, 4300, 5000, and 5100 Series. The TA-series encompasses check valve balls, springs, valve discs, O-rings, inlet and outlet bodies, stuffing box seats, and small precision internals that govern the directional flow and leak-free operation of each pump stroke.

In chemical injection service, internal valve components experience repeated pressure cycling against aggressive fluid chemistries — corrosion inhibitors, acids, methanol, and scale inhibitors. Worn or damaged valve balls and seats cause back-leakage that degrades metering accuracy and can allow corrosive chemicals to migrate into unintended pump zones. Replacing with the factory-correct TA 4092 restores the tight shut-off and proper cracking pressure specified by Texsteam engineering.

Manufactured at the Baker Hughes / Dresser Texsteam facility in Houston, Texas, TA-series parts have been produced to consistent tolerances since the company’s founding in 1937.
