What is Hydrotex Majestic BTU Hydrosynthetic® Heat Transfer Oils?

Majestic BTU Hydrosynthetic® Heat Transfer Oils provide outstanding resistance against oxidation, carbonizing, and coking, while providing excellent thermal conductivity over a wide range of temperatures. Available in FOUR FORMULATIONS to meet the performance, health, environmental and safety specifications of a wide range of heating and cooling applications. Majestic BTU does not require special handling and is not considered a “controlled substance” under U.S. OSHA regulations. Hydrotex BTU may be responsibly disposed through used-oil recyclers.

Limitations (from the Hydrotex data sheet): Majestic BTU Hydrosynthetic Heat Transfer Oil should be used in heat transfer systems with forced oil circulation. Adequate flow rates must be maintained to prevent localized “hot spots” of overheating that can cause degradation of fluid.
