Fiber-Metal® By Honeywell White 3RW-A Ratchet Suspension Sensor Multi-Directional Protective Hard Cap provides a dual impact energy control system that senses the point of impact and activates the appropriate force attenuation system. Thermoplastic cap features smooth crown design that contains a technically advanced suspension with 8 load bearing points to stabilize and balance the cap. A blow to the crown activates the SuperEight® crown impact system. A lateral impact activates the patented attenuator band which provides protection for outer edge of the cap. Cap features SuperEight® impact energy control system that dissipates force by reducing it to smaller increments and increases protective performance. Cap featuring SE-2 airflow design provides air circulation within the shell. It meets ANSI-Z89.1 Type II and Class E standards.
