North® by Honeywell Protecto-Shield® V5N Prolok® Headgear is made of tough thermoplastic and features a ratchet tension knob headband adjustment for easy sizing. It comes with a 8 1/2″ X 15″ padded sweatband visor that can be attached with no snaps, posts or levers and is designed to protect the wearer’s face from a variety of hazards. The headgear has a chemical splash drip edge that avoids the fluids from entering the visor and the polycarbonate visor resists impact, water, heat. The aluminum bound headgear protects the face against falling or flying objects, impact, chemical splash, airborne debris such as chipping, grinding, machining, masonry riveting and sanding. It offers superior heat protection and meets the ANSI Z87.1 requirements.
