Patented Mono-Body Housing
This feature is a TorcUP exclusive. The TU Series housing is machined from a single block of 7075 AQ Aluminum, which reduces torsion and flex on the body of the tool under pressure.

What is the TorcUP TU-7 square drive hydraulic torque wrench?
The TU-7 (often searched as TU 7) is a 1 1/2” square drive model in TorcUP’s TU series of hydraulic torque wrenches. It turns an impact socket on the nut while the tool reacts through its reaction arm or directly off its housing. TorcUP’s manual says the series is designed for installing and removing threaded fasteners that need precise high torque at bolt makeup and maximum torque at bolt breakout.
Push-through drive: on the TU-2, TU-3, TU-7 and TU-11 you switch between tighten and loosen by pushing the square drive through the housing until it projects out the opposite side, per the TU manual.

How do you set the TU-7 to a target torque?
Read the pump pressure for your target torque from the calibration certificate provided with the tool, the chart engraved on the shroud, or the TU-7 Torque Conversion Chart in the manual, preset it on the pump, then cycle the tool until it stalls at that pressure. Position the reaction arm against an adjacent nut, flange or solid system component, never against the hoses or swivels.
