Appleton AEXMS Series Manual Motor Starters are used to start polyphase Vac motors. They are ideal for use in indoor, outdoor, wet, or corrosive environments where hazardous materials are handled or stored. These explosionproof, dust-ignitionproof, waterproof motor starters are designed with a precision machined flame path between the box and the cover. An O-ring gasket is provided to seal out moisture, dust, oil, dirt etc. They are supplied with Cutler-Hammer or Square D manual motor starters using three overloads. They feature positive operating levers which can be locked in the ON or OFF position, four cast on mounting feet allow easy rack or individual mounting, stainless steel, hex head cover bolts, and standard outlets at the top and the bottom.
