What is Deacon 911 Injectable Sealant?

#1 Seller for Boiler Feed Water and Bad Blows. Heat curing, Black color, Extremely dense, Fibrous putty impregnated with metal and ceramic fibers. Shelf-life 6 months in closed packages. Must store in refrigerator or freezer.

Where is it used?

Clamps, Enclosures, Perimeter Seals, Wire Wraps, Flanges, Boiler Feed Water, Steam, Condensate. Designed for bad blows. Can be used for killing or plugging valves or lines no longer in use.

What temperature does it take, and what is it chosen against?

Service rating 200F to 1600F (93C to 871C). That places it at the hot end of the Deacon range, reaching 1600F where the 250F-to-950F grades stop. In practice it is chosen against 454 and CV-600, which cover the same lower band more cheaply and stop at 950F.
