RamFan EL5540MK EX50Li G2+ 700w 40V Brushless PPV 18″, Makita XGT Compatible

The RAMFAN EX50Li G2+ is a 40V brushless positive-pressure ventilation fan
with an 18 inch blade, rated 700w. This order number is the Makita
configuration and ships with NO BATTERY. It is compatible with Makita
40V / 8Ah XGT packs, which are bought separately.

What does the G2+ generation change?

The G2+ adds an upgraded OLED screen on the controller and a MAX mode: a
single-button shortcut to maximum power rather than a speed sequence. Built-in
lighting aids visibility and warns the operator before the battery depletes.

Where the single button earns itself: a fan is usually set
while wearing gloves, often in the dark, and a control that needs to be watched

How is the battery compartment protected?

The battery housing is 360 aluminium with a UL 94 V0 flameproof rating, with
automatic pressure sensing to mitigate thermal events.

Choosing between the Makita and RAMFAN battery versions

This is a battery-platform decision, not a performance one. Departments
already standardised on Makita XGT keep one charger fleet and one spare pool by
taking this version. Crews without that standard usually take the RAMFAN M5
version instead, because the M-Series packs add PRO//connect telemetry, Preheat
Mode and hot-swapping.

Note on runtime: RAMFAN publishes a 75 minute figure for the
G2+ platform, but that figure is measured with RAMFAN M5 packs. It does not
describe this Makita configuration, so no runtime is claimed here.
