BMG-6000™
BMG-6000 is an open gear and bushing lubricant designed for use on the most severely loaded applications. It is especially useful where gears have previously been damaged due to severe load or poor lubrication. Pumpable at temperatures 32°F (0°C) or higher.

Decathlon™ Gold
Decathlon™ Gold is the ultimate solution to the problem of lubricating open gears and very slow moving enclosed gears. It is a clean, environmentally-friendly, high viscosity synthetic oil that easily works with and protects even the most heavily loaded gears.

Earthkeeper® OGL
Earthkeeper® OGL is a biodegradable, highly effective open gear lubricant formulated using a high concentration of solid lubricants in combination with extreme pressure additives. It forms a robust film that protects from scuffing and pitting under the most punishing conditions.

Envirolube®
When it comes to protecting heavily loaded open gears, Envirolube® stands out as the market leader in performance and quality. Envirolube has been recognized by OEMs and End-Users. No other open gear lubricant offers the protection from wear that is available from the Envirolube line. The combination of a dense protective film, plus special chemical extreme pressure additives ensures smooth operation, even on gears that operate under the most severe load conditions.

Envirolube® Extreme
Envirolube® has been a market leader in open gear lubrication, extending the life of the most severely loaded gears. By using Envirolube Extreme, existing wear damage such as pitting or spalling is smoothed, restoring a smooth operating surface. The synergy created by the Extreme additive system reduces friction and wear to levels that were never thought possible. Friction reduction: 28.1%. Wear reduction: 28.5%.
Envirolube Extreme meets or exceeds the requirements of major OEM’s for open gear lubricants.
Use Medium grade on unheated mills in weather conditions between 0°F (-18°C) and 110°F (43°C). Use Heavy grade on heated mills up to 220°F (105°C) or where gears are badly worn.

Envirolube® XE
Envirolube® XE is a proven, robust open gear lubricant used primarily on Ball Mills and Kilns. It is free of heavy metals and asphalt, instead Envirolube XE contains a blend of high viscosity petroleum distillate, synthetic polymer and resins. The advantage over asphalt is that the spent lubricant does not harden over time, this greatly simplifies cleanup. Envirolube® XE creates an effective layer of chemical and physical protection that prevents scuffing and pitting.
The Medium and Heavy grades meet the specifications of Falk, FL Smidth and Metso Minerals.

Envirolube® XE Extreme
Envirolube® XE Extreme is Whitmore's most highly recommended open gear lubricant. Created by adding proprietary anti-wear technology proven in enclosed-gear applications, Envirolube XE Extreme takes open-gear wear protection to a revolutionary level. A market leader in open-gear lubrication, Envirolube XE Extreme extends the life of even the most severely loaded open gears. This lubricant smooths existing wear damage, restoring a smooth operating surface and ensuring cost savings through reduced friction, temperature and load.

GearArmor™
GearArmor™, an open gear lubricant that provides improved protection, with unprecedented economy of use. Preventing wear on expensive components will always be the foremost “cost reduction” and Whitmore's GearArmor™ is effective in this regard, even under the highest load. However, despite world class wear protection, GearArmor™ compares favorably in cost with lower-performing asphaltic lubricants. GearArmor™ plates out on metal surfaces to create a dense dark film. The high concentration of solid lubricants (graphite, MoS2 and Whitmore's SL-Tech™) provides a cushion of protection that minimizes metal-to-metal contact. Oil-soluble extreme pressure additives prevent scuffing by forming a slippery coating where surfaces come in contact. The combined effect greatly exceeds the protection offering by lubricants that rely primarily on high viscosity. GearArmor™ promotes surface improvement as asperities are progressively smoothed down. The smoother surfaces minimize metal fatigue by spreading the load over a wider area. Reduced metal fatigue reduces the sub-surface cracking that leads to pitting. GearArmor™ is reinforced by the addition of polymers. These promote cohesiveness, metal adhesion and water resistance.

GearMate® 1000
GearMate® 1000 contains a high molecular weight polymer extender that resists drying, oxidation and thermal decomposition. This is extremely helpful in areas of high dust contamination or when typical weather conditions can cause peeling and flaking from sticks, gears, and circle rails. Whitmore's blend of solid and oil-soluble anti-wear additives provides superior load carrying ability and high performance wear resistance in an environmentally safe package.

GearMate® 1000 ICT
Whitmore's toughest lubricant recommended for use on draglines and shovels. This lubricant contains a high molecular weight polymer that resists drying, oxidation, and thermal decomposition. It does not emulsify in water, making it ideal for components exposed to rain, ice and snow, and in many areas, a single grade can be used year-round. GearMate 1000ICT is enhanced with an improved coating technology that establishes a dark, non-transparent coating on metal so operators can easily identify the lubricant is in its correct place and quantity.

Handi-Lube®
No other open gear lubricant offers the protection from wear that is available from Handi-Lube™. The combination of a dense protective film, plus special chemical extreme pressure additives ensures smooth operation, even on gears that operate under the most severe load conditions. Asphalt spray.

MillGuard™
MillGuard™ is a high-viscosity fluid based on petroleum resin. It has extraordinary adhesiveness and extreme pressure resistance. MillGuard was developed primarily for use on heavily loaded bushings, and is ideal for use on severely loaded sugar mill bushings. It contains additives for neutralizing acidity and combating corrosion.

SurStik®
SurStik® is a high-performance, extreme pressure lubricant formulated to lubricate open gears, dipper sticks and bushings on walking draglines, shovels and drills with outstanding results. It pumps well in cold temperatures, lubricates in the hottest climates, resists dirt contamination and stays on in wet and freezing conditions.

SurStik® 800
Designed using the latest technology in extreme pressure/antiwear chemistry, SurStik® 800 is a high-performance, extreme pressure lubricant formulated for use on open gears. It works well in highly loaded components under the most punishing conditions and easily forms a protective film. SurStik 800 is highly resistant to being washed out. Meets Bucyrus specification.

Surtac® 2000
Surtac® 2000 contains molybdenum disulfide and graphite solid lubricants which provide a durable protective coating without the use of asphalt, solvents or lead. It is suitable for use on dragline open gears, slow moving bearings and bushing. It minimizes metal-to-metal contact and wear. When correctly applied, Surtac 2000 forms a matte, non-greasy film, this makes it particularly useful in very dusty environments.
